We were one of the teams that had a motor at Fontana when they closed. We got back some of our parts but most parts were not the parts from my motor. Gary Stanton called me this winter and said he would work on our Fontanas. Last night was our first race with our Stanton built Fontana and it ran awesome. We didn't qualify well because we jumped the cushion in qualifying. But the engine performed great. We went 12th to 5th in the B main and made the show in our first ever USAC midget week race. Gary and Eric have been great to deal with and customer service is so much better than Fontana ever thought about having.
