Dave Ely ran an older non-downtube wolfweld car in URC and has since gone back to 410's at port and the grove with a couple new wolfweld non-downtube cars.
so far this season, he has had some bad luck and wrecked one pretty good but he also won at port so it appears the cars hold together and are fast. i really dont know if i would expect anything less.
