Sat July 10, Street Stock/Modified match race $1500 to win plus Sprints, Bombers & Pure Stocks, all Sprint Cars run a feature event. Pits open 4, Grandstands 5, Racing 7:30 admission adults $15 kids 12 & under free pits $30.

This may be a dumb ? but can someone explain the Street Stock/Modified match race

20 car field, 10 Street Stocks, 10 modifieds, $1500 to Win, Street Stocks run heats and B-Mains together same for modifieds, winner from first heat in street stocks and modifieds will do a coin toss the winner will choose either starting on the pole or outside of the front row. Lineup something like this

or vice versa if modified starts on pole

dnt realy make sense to me mostly cause ive never seen a street stock run anywhere near as fast as a modified.

Many places the street stocks aren't all that STREET or STOCK ... not sure about Paragon ... they look like late models many places ...
