Might be a good night to sit under the roof

I regrettably won't be there and won't return until comfortable that the surface will be properly prepared!
-first Eldora race 1964

Rich, My first race there was 1966! I am not happy with the surface or the banking either. I also went to races at Tri County/Queen City Speedway in the early 70's.

Put me in the Rich H catagory.

Last two Eldora USAC Openers I attended were a dust out and a fog out and teams and drivers did all they could to get a show on. The track seemed to care less if it happened or not.

Burg for me and I'll drive a extra hundred miles over Eldora Sunday to T.H.A.T! Yup, 200 miles each way.

The camera's are ready, the car's packed and I'm heading west young man. See ya soon! O' it's only 10 hours to Gas City, then over to Eldora, then 8 hours home! I've saving my pennys all winter!

Tickets are in the van and I'm ready to give Eldora another shot. Looks like Gas City is already prepping us for a rain date of the 27th. At this point the big E weather looks ok for Saturday.
