Thinking of a trip to Tulsa in January, and have a couple questions for the assembled:

-Are there normally any re-sale tickets available in the pit area/trade show?

-Is there a program sold?

-Any recommendations for restaurants in Tulsa?

Any other suggestions for a first-time visitor would be appreciated!

tickets - Yes there has always been sellers outside the front door. I would try to find a set early week. If you buy day to day fri/sat. will get expensive or hard to find. Usually you can find some on these message boards also but they seem to be fewer this year. They do sell pit passes that get you access to the backstretch seats on first come first serve basis.

programs - Yes - get this early week as it has a coupon for each night to receive a handout with the nights competitors line up sheet

Restaurants - I'm sure there will be a thread as we get closer listing many. A favorite we have found is a pizza place downtown call Joe Mamma's. Great specialty pizzas

other suggestions - Go and enjoy , plan on walking a lot , ear plugs. Hit the chili bowl t-shirt trailer early week styles and sizes start disappearing by Friday.

Saturday tickets were hard to find last year... I would try to get them on here or other racing sites before making the trip. Tue-Fri you can find tickets outside the expo fairly easy

Don't miss the Racers for Autism event Monday night (if you're going to be in town early)it was a great event this year and I'm sure it will be even bigger and better next!
We found Talley's to be a great breakfast destination.
