The driver in the photo is Butch Wilkerson. The car is a Steve Stapp sprong front car.

the painter was dale black, bobbys brother, i think ? he was very very good. you should see the free handed pin striping he put on my uncles corvette. dale passed away in an automobile fire yrs. ago.

Yes, I remember the car/fire deal, happened on I65 between Seymour, and Columbus as I recall. And, he was a fantastic painter. Bob!

remember seeing butch in that car... fast as always!! also recall black's brother free hand lettering my uncle danny's cars, what an artist he was!!!

If you folks remember Dale Black you will recal his nickname was "Rev" Little Indiana trivia. Bobby, Dale and Butch grew up and played together as kids in east Columbus.

That ia very late picture of the Dizz Wilson car,well after
Carl Williams drove it. He was killed in 1973 on a motorcycle
in Kansas. The car is a newer model-it has a roll cage built
inside the car,has a weight jacker on left side. Well after
the Offy era. Car mid 70's. Probably the last car Dizz
campaigned.
