With saturated grounds, including standing water in the parking lot and pit area, plus unseasonably cool temperatures over the last few days and nights, Montpelier Motor Speedway officials made the decision to cancel the event.

Montpelier still doesn't drain real well. It's been pretty chilly up here this week to not to mention they got some snow yesterday as well. Last night there was still standing water in the parking lot, as well in the pits.

They've had a lot of wet weather up there lately and if it looks anything like it has in the past, you might be able to get into the pits but good luck getting your hauler out.
