I have some old one piece fiberglass hoods, like Gambler, Stanton, etc. I have them stored upside down, and some inside the others to save space, but nothing that would push the sides out. Anyhow, the sides of the hoods have kind of mushroomed out as if they sat rightside up with weight on them.....what caused this and can I get them back into shape?

I used to "resize" fiberglass seats, by warming them up with a propane torch, and cutting a 2X4 to spread them. A heatgun would probably do the same thing more safetly, but as long as you didn't get them hot enough to separate the layers, you should be able to get them back in shape! Bob
