I am late getting on here, but it is great to see that Dave won. Hope he can bring home a victory at DuQuoin Sunday night. Earlene and I will be there cheering for him.

Who's car was Darland in? Was Stanbrough back in his car yet?

Darland was fast all night in the Peterbuilt #7r. Starting 2nd let him get out on top. He looked like he was going to coast but Hunter S. came on big time after the last restart with 3 to go and made DD use everything he had. Great finish. Weir did a fine job in 3rd and Billy P. made a great run from 15th to the top five. Josh Spencer looked like he had a top five but slipped to 6th the last few laps. Great run as I'm sure the Spencer team is relieved to have not run into any of the bad luck tonight. Ryan Kaplan was strong but ran into troubles in the feature. The track, which was reworked before the main, was excellent as there were grooves top and bottom. 33 sprints, 25 mods, 11 Thunders, and 9 SS. Feature over by 10:30.

Dave and the Peterbilt Team were the class of the field most of the feature, but you have to give Hunter and Scotty their due. For most of the race they waged a fierce battle for second place. The battle of the night, definitely. And after the last restart, Hunter did all he could and tried to win the race. And on the last lap, in turn 3, he had a great run on DD. He could have not lifted and either taken Dave or Dave and himself both out, but he didn't. As a fan, I appreciated his hard but clean try for the win.
