Watch all the action from Knoxville Raceway this Wednesday Night as the best Sprint Car Drivers in the World battle for top qualifying points. Wednesday Night qualifying should be exciting as a mix of young guns such as David Gravel, will challenge a host of veteran drivers including Joey Saldana, Craig Dollansky, Fred Rahmer and Jason Sides. Please visit http://www.knoxvilleraceway.com for a complete list of Wednesday Night Qualifiers.

Join announcers Tony Bokhoven and Blake Anderson as they provide the lap by lap coverage August 11th, beginning with Hot Laps at 7:15pm CST.

The LIVE video broadcast will be just $19.50 for Wednesday and each of the Preliminary Nights of the 50th Knoxville Nationals. Join in on all the racing action starting Wednesday night.

Seriously, the track really slowed down fast. I would venture to guess a typical winged garbage surface.

I still think that since they are hellbent on having a FUEL STOP at the halfway point that they should take that time to remove all wings, change bars and shocks, put a big left rear on and run the last 25 laps the way the nationals USED TO BE...

We would damn sure see the best sprintcar driver in the country win that race that way.

Rahmer, , WRONG.......I've had ONE favorite wing driver in 42 years....Bobby Allen .....
In my opinion, the only PA car that has a shot is Dewease. If he has his chit together and a little luck he can win it....

As for listening to the broadcast last night, it has been a long hot week, ALREADY, and I needed something to put me to sleep and it worked. I heard up to the first red, in the first heat and WAAA LAA, the alarm went off and it was time to go to work...Got rained out anyway...

Hines qualified Sunday at 18.565.... Shaffer last night at 15.372..... thats over 3 seconds faster.. nuff said
