The Kid from Florida

Collin Cabre, a 17 year old kid from Florida who has just recently started racing sprint cars has already picked up 2 feature wins, 1 with a wing and 1 without. He picked up his first win at Citrus Speedway with the non wing car down in Florida. Then most recently this past saturday he ventured up to New Paris where he picked up the Wing victory with the HOSS series. After spending some time with the Cabre family as they attended the Indiana Sprint Week race at Lawrenceburg, it is great to see a young talent be such a class act. Very humble and just loving the atmosphere at Sprint Week (who couldn't). We hope to see continued success from Collin as he continues racing with various series over the summer.

he live's around the cornor from me and is very well liked on and off the track,his parent's have done a fine job raising a very respectfull young man. hope he has continued success.

he has 2 little brother's that race also and are coming up thru the rank's like he did.

Thank you to Benic Enterprises for recognizing Collin and posting what you did. We come back to Indy the 30th for a race and hope to have much sucess !! Collin loves to drive openwheel, wing or non wing, asphault or dirt it doesn't matter racing a sprintcar is what he is about...

Hey can't wait to get back to Indy this weekend back in the #64 car of Tom Brewer's and racing in the Hoss Series. It is so diffrent racing up there your tracks really have people show up to watch the race !! Need to give a special Thanks to Jr Kunstbeck and Matt Grimes this has been a real rollercoaster ride giving up there weekends to help Collin. Thanks guys !!!

Couldn't agree more Lou, from what it seems like with an outside POV you have 3 kids running around working their tails off and having tremendous success, not to mention they are enjoying themselves! I love seeing that, Chris Windom is doing it around Indiana with the help of Derek Claxton and Yogi, and they show no signs of slowing down!

Anybody in the area needs to make the trip to the HOSS show this Saturday, see Collin in action and meet the Kid from Florida. Afterall, if you impress race fans in Indiana you have to be doing something right!

We will see you guys tonight at IRP i hope, looking foward to getting the grand tour of RWB.. As I always said if you want to be a great surfer and have a chance at making it big you better not live in Kansas and if you want to make it in Sprintcars don't live in Fla. You got to go were it is happening !!!
