Not the cars I was hoping for. Crate Late Models, Super Stocks, UMP Mods, and Hornets.

Eat dirt, be happy
Let’s go Brandon!!

Hornets on a 1/2 mile? Are they safe? Will their engines take it?

They run 4 cylinders at Florence weekly and that's a 1/2 mile.

2024 Season: Race 1 - April 20th Brownstown (Crate LM). Unlike many I don't discriminate on what racing I choose to watch.

Not being a jerk here. Florence is only a 3/8ths mile. Maybe a big 3/8ths if you run the fence. Terre Haute is a true half mile even if you run the inside guardrail all the way around. I've never measured them in person but Google maps is pretty accurate using the built in measure tool and that's the story it tells. Also having raced at both tracks I can tell you for sure the Action Track is bigger when compared to Florence. Either way, a hornet around THAT will be interesting I guess. Best of luck to everyone involved, I hope it is a great show!

TH has far less banking. Hornets run every labor day at Winchester. They have also ran multiple times at IRP. Hopefully they pull a great crowd of cars.
