My wife and I stopped there on our vacation last September. The goose bumps on my arms showed her that I could feel the presence of great racing action at that site. Thanks for sharing that video!

Me and my sister went this summer too. We walked around the whole track and you could see banked asphalt peaking through the dirt! Very cool and very sad!

Went to a reunion a few years back when usac sc cars ran Terre Haute. Glad i did it. A two seater old race car was running around the place and a few other old cars on display. Plus racing memorabilia on hand.

My wife and I don't live that far from Jungle Park and have been there twice with friends from out of town who love racing history. They both went nuts when they saw the remains and took oodles of pictures. It is worth visiting and is not difficult to find. Wish we could have seen it in its glory but that would make us older than we already are!! Was a story in the last year in the Indianapolis Star on the track. It was very good and worth looking up.

Great piece. I've been there once myself, and you can definitely feel the experience. Reminded me of an article I just read on Auto Week about Langhorne. Look it up if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed. Someday I'll learn how to post links, hopefully

It is really easy to get to, and next to one of our most scenic state parks
