Not only was Jason a great champion, who was one of only three drivers to ever win 3 consecutive USAC Midget titles, but he was also such a nice guy. And one who never forgot where he came from, giving back so much to the sport that helped him become the competitor that he turned out to be. RIP Jason Leffler.
Jerry
A man is about as big as the things that make him angry.
I was fortunate enough to attend the 2007 Kroger 200 won by Jason Leffler. He ran an outstanding race that night. In victory lane he reflected on some of the legends of open wheel racing and their use of the slide job, just like the one that helped him gain the victory. His joy that night is what everyone should remember. RIP Jason.
RIP Jason praying for his family hope they can investigate his car and wreck to see how they can make it safer because there has been to many death in the last years in sprint cars.
