Today is Benny Parsons birthday,, yes I know he is not from Indiana, and he is not an open wheeler, but he truely is a racers/racer and was a great ambasator to our sport.. Got to race with him once in Michigan at Clarks Motor Speedway (I-96) in one of the Art Meade 101's he sure could run the dirt,, and could tell stories all night long when we were done.

Had a chance to meet him for a motorsports charity event in Waukesha,WI many years ago. Great Individual and great racer back in the day. Always enjoyed his announcing on TV.
