Shane Hmiel's 5ive-6ix Inc midget team is looking for young drivers that they can guide to the next level.
Arrangements can be made to run from 1 event to an entire season of USAC and POWRi events.
Our Esslinger engines and Triple X cars have brought success from Indiana to California with a number of different drivers.
In addition, Shane has convinced his dad, Steve, to provide his North Carolina shop to campaign NASCAR Late Model Stocks and Super Late Models.
Recently, NASCAR has rejected applications from some short track drivers that want to run in the K+N Series instructing them to get some quality experience in "a pavement Late Model platform".
The shop in North Carolina will be a great place to climb the next rung on the ladder if a midget driver wants to continue forward toward K+N, Camping World Trucks, or the Xfinity Series.
We also have access to ARCA cars if a driver wanted to work on his big track skills while he ran the short tracks locally.
We believe our experience in winning midget, late model, Camping World Truck series, Xfinity (2 championships, over 50 wins), Sprint Cup (3 Championships, 7 Daytona 500's, over 40 wins) and managing big budgets would be an asset to a young man or woman on the move upward.
It would be fun to be a part of your success. We're not a marketing firm, we don't want to put you in front of owners that don't care what you've done or where you've been just so we can collect a fee. We just race and have been doing it professionally since 1974.
Please call or e-mail with questions or ideas. Thank you.
