Was wanting to know if there is any interest in running any Friday night races in 2011, The track is about 30 miles east of KC raceway in Oh. it is a 1/4 mile banked track they have run 600s in the past. The track will have new owners in 2011 after being idle for a few years, I know the new owner and he has invested alot to buy this track, He would like to run us. I need to see if there is any interest and how often people would like to run, I was thinking wingless but we can do what ever every one wants. I will keep every one posted on the progress of the track they are shooting for a mid April opening.

Make it wingless and include midgets with the 1000cc. It works and you'll get better car counts with combining the cars. Love the 1/4 miles.

I'd be in favor of it as long as the AMSA wasn't running the following day. That's every bit of a two and a half hour drive from Cincy. The AMSA schedule seems pretty spread out which I like so I'd definitely be in favor of it on an off weekend. I wouldn't care if its wing or non wing. Keep us posted. What's the name of the track or town?

I am thinking the same thing. I in know wan't to promote races I am just concerned about the lack of races. I am thinking of trying to put together a big race, Will know more when the track gives me a date to work with. Looking at a Sat. at another track late in the season. This track is in Jackson OH.
As far as the 2 1/2 hour drive welcome to my world LOL

Till i got out my map i thought "brown county" that would be great place to race only 5 hours from louisville but we would probably go. Jackson is also a pretty good track old buckey's raced there a few years ago but nothing like brownstown.

That sounds great. 2 1/2 hours is not a bad drive, 10 hours is a long drive. Try non wing and see how it goes, if no one likes it go back to the wings.

Don't get me wrong guys. I'll drive 2 1/2 hours. I'm driving 13 later this week to go to Ocala. lol I'm just saying driving two and a half hours on a workday (Friday night) is a lot different from a Saturday. When I ran TQs the officials would start weekday shows an hour later to give working guys the chance to get there. I like AP64's idea of running non wing to start and if it doesn't go over we can always throw them back on.

I'm out of Columbus, OH, and would definitely be interested, especially in non-wing, once or twice a month. I ran this track years ago, and always had a great time, perfect size for these cars. Any chance of attracting some cars from 35 Raceway with a weight break or bonus for the top 600?
