I have a miss at high rpm. it acts like it is flooding at low and then after a few laps it starts missing middle of straight and and through turn then straightens back up for exit and half the straight. as soon as I pull off it revs good. 00 zx9 carbs on gas. plugs don't look real black and aren't real grey looks decent actually. any ideas

They call that jet stager. The outer cylinders run a little hotter than the two center ones, so they run a little richer to compensate. Some engine work just the opposite has something to do with coolant flow. That is another reason why stock ram tube are different lengths.

Find factory pro's web site and research a bit. If you are running carbs on gas he also sells the best carb kits around. The instructions are better than the parts.
