For a mid-week midget race that far from Indy, that's a pretty good turnout.

Big congrats to Shane for the win.

(This is just my opinion only) Before I watched the interview that Shane did with Buckley on Jackslash.com I really didn't know what to think about him getting back into a racecar especially a sprint car or midget. After listening to that interview I came out of it with a new found respect for him and I'm really glad that he's had the success he's had. I hope he continues to turn his life around and I wish him the best of luck.

There's going to be a brief period of rain in about an hour. The weather service is saying the rain will end by 7pm and there will be a 4 hour window after that.

I'm hoping they are patient and wait out the first shower, dry the track and get the show in. That's what I'm banking on. Leaving the house now.

Last night's race was better than expected.

Congrats to Shane Hmiel for his first national midget win. Also, good run by Cale Conley.
