I hung around for awhile I seen no lighting bolts striking the hills.

There was plenty of lightning! especially, driving on Rt.50 along the river on the way back to Cincinnati. They made the correct call. It's a shame. They had a great field of cars in all divisions and a great crowd.

I agree 100% with the call and can't say thanks enough to all of the fans and racers that showed up. The track crew worked their tails off and the Johnson Family put a great weekend together. We were there since 2:30pm on Friday and had a blast meeting Budman, Aero and Cecil98. A big thanks to Tim Johnson for giving my six year old driving lessons (my wife will get over it)! Thanks to Dave Rudisell also for all of his hardwork putting this weekend together. I hope it works out to get everyone back to finish this show because for the first year, it was awesome to see the stands packed and the atmosphere on the backstretch was second to none. Mel deserved the best and he got it other than the last bit of rain.

You must be the only ones who didn't and the only ones still sitting up there in the stands while everyone else knows metal is a conductor
