Screven Ga.........Australian Rohan Beasley picked his biggest win of his career Saturday at the 3rd Annual Gator"DIRT"Nationals at Gamecock Speedway..Beasley started 7th and maintain that position for most of the the race just keeping his nose clean while the top 6 in front was battling it out from the wave of the green flag. Ty Tilton jumped to a quick lead with young Kyle Craker all over him followed by Weir and Nocelle.

Caution comes out as Scott Anderson tags the front straight wall. On the restart Tilton and Craker come together leaving Tilton on the sidelines and Crake not stopping on the track was able to continue as he inherited the lead. Lap 14 it is Scotty Weir taking to the point as the 3 leaders battled side by side into turn 3 with 2 lap cars making it 5...yes 5 wide and Weir coming out on top. Craker, Weir, Gerke, Beck, Nocella all over each other, sometimes 4 wide on the 5th mile of Redd Griffins Gamecock Speedway.

Lap 29 sees caution 3 for a spin then after restart on Lap 31 with less then 10 laps to go for $5000.00 hell breaks loose going into 3...4-5-6 no 8 cars involved with 3 going over. All but 1 car was able to restart. After the red flag getting the line up was difficult at best. Racer wanting their spot back as they circled the 5th mile "Ring of Fire". Finally on the restart look who finds himself at the point...Lovable Bear Rohan Beasley..held of all challengers on the huggy pole just as Chet Johnson did at Terre Haute USAC race in "86 in his 1 and only USAC win.

WOW what some great racing both days. There were a few hi-cups but we will give the very 1st race at Gamecock Speedway and A-.

Can not thank Bob East and Brad Noffsinger enough for all the help and advice this weekend to make this as good of event as it is becoming... It went very smooth for the most part of the entire weekend...A couple on track incidents in the A that left a few angry. Racing was hard, fast and furious with 25 cars on a 1/5th mile track for $5,000.00 to win. Hope all ya'll have a great 2017 and support your series and or local race track
