R.I.P. Jesse Hockett. I am so glad I had the privilege of meeting you and watch you race. You were a class act and a helluva guy. Racing at the big shows will never be the same without you there. Godspeed........

OMG I cant believe it this is crazy what a freak accident. our thoughts and prayers go out to the Hockett family. he will be deeply missed

We all know the dangers of the sport. Never thought something like this would happen outside the seat. Thoughts and prayers.

What an incredibly sad start to this day and to what had promised to be an exciting racing weekend. Now as others have said, all that seems inconsequential. I have no words, just thoughts and sympathies to family and friends.
