Mike,

Let's hope they don't schedule it during the same week that Indiana Midget Week is going on, again this year. That was decision that cost them both quality competitors and a lot of fans, in 2009.

Jerry,

I couldn't agree more. I was only able to hit the Tuesday night show at VCS last year. I hope they are able to find a different week.

As far as the payout we're trying to put 16-18 races together and that is what it's going to take to make it happen. There is no doubt that non-wing races put on the best shows!! We don't want to schedule against any big races so let us know what works best. I hope we can build this to be bigger and better as it goes.

Don't we already have a winged Sprint Car tour here in the midwest? I believe it's called the O'Reilly Midwest All Stars Series (410 Winged Sprints).

You can check out our other series at monstermidwestseries.com
Sounds good to us. Hope you can make it fly and we will support as much as possible. Any ideas of what tracks you are looking at running?

IMHO a series that paid 2000 to win and 300 to start would attract more cars. Most of the cars there have a "not so good" chance at winning. 35 cars expected draws bigger crowds, cars are more likely to come knowing that 300 goes along way to help in paying the bills if they can only make the feature. A good example of this is a track that Clint Bowyer grew up on driving a modified. http://www.lakesidespeedway.net/ 160 to start feature and 600 to win, 500 for second and 400 for third. Purses tend to be 1st place heavy in Indiana. This track never has trouble attracting cars and starts 24 in the feature.

I know the series is looking at IL and IN but what about WI? You have Wilmot Speedway in southeast WI., it's close to the IL border and they race sprints there every week, now I'm not sure how many drivers at Wilmot or other local drivers would take off their "crutch...ie the wing" that could be a big down fall......not having enough local drivers wanting to race without a wing on, I personnally like wing-ess sprints to me it allows the fans to see how the drivers drive/control the car.
