While I was checking on schedules I notice that ASCS has 2 dates in Feb. 18 & 19 for a Midwest Regional race. It looks like a no USAC show for The Copper

Since ASCS is 360's, and Arizona is Canyon region, and now California is 360, where would USAC get cars for a sprint race? The handwriting was on the wall. I'm not surprised.

I'm actually waiting for the TNT to become a 360 group with the way everyone else is bailing on the 410s.

And then you end up with $40k 360 engines. Brilliant.

The days of 40k engines are long gone, money talks right now and 25k will buy the baddest bullet around. Hell, 10k will buy a great piece that has got a few rebuilds on it but still makes 800+. The 360's are no different. Any way u slice it, there are bargains out there when it comes to all things racing. Always being around 410's and now living in Arizona where it's all 360, I'm actually very impressed with what they do for what they cost. On the flip side I will argue your side and say it's a shame to see aluminum 410's becoming obsolete and forcing guys to trade up or hang it up. Jmo
