A limited number of General Admission tickets for the May 7, 2014 STP World of Outlaws event at Jacksonville Speedway remain available and can be ordered online at www.CILTRAK.com. General Admission tickets are $50. Tickets will not be available for purchase on the day of the race. When the remaining general admission tickets are sold, no additional tickets will be available and the event will be considered "sold out". Here's some background on the how's/why's for this event:

Why are you limiting tickets?
Jacksonville is a small venue and doesn't have enough seating to host a WoO event through traditional race day ticket sales. Jacksonville has been a sprint car track for decades, but has never hosted a WoO event. We wanted to give our loyal local fans a chance to see the Greatest Show On Dirt one time. We are only allocating 1,200 seats for this event, which will make the place 'full' while still allowing ample space for comfortable seating. Out of those 1,200 seats, roughly 400 are allocated to VIP packages with a 3ft space for your rear end, while the additional 800 are general admission seats with a 2 foot space per seat. This will pretty much fill up our grandstands.

Why is the price $50 while WoO tickets at other tracks are usually $15 less?
Seating capacity and math. Again, we are only allowing 1,200 people into the grandstands to watch this event. This show isn't for everyone. It might not be the right show for someone who would be traveling a distance to see it.

Why haven't I heard about tickets for this event until now?
We have been selling general admission and VIP tickets for this event for a few months. We really wanted to give local fans and residents in and around Jacksonville the first opportunity to get tickets because that's why we are doing it in the first place. We now feel like everyone in our immediate area has had ample opportunity to purchase a ticket and are therefore letting the rest of the world know about it for our remaining tickets.

Can I buy a pit pass on the day of the race?
Yes. Pit passes will be available for purchase on race day, but a pit pass will NOT allow you access to the grandstand area. Our very limited pit bleachers will be allocated to race teams. The way our track is configured, a person who is not with a race team will have a very difficult time watching the race because no bleacher seating will be available.

How many tickets remain available?
As of 12/17, roughly 125 general admission tickets remain available. Not counted in that total are roughly 50 tickets where we've been asked by someone local to 'save them a ticket' that hasn't been paid for yet and those will be added back to the available tickets as we get close to running out if they aren't paid for by then. We expect to have enough tickets to make it through the Christmas gift season but that's about it. We don't expect to still be selling tickets in January.

I can see the Outlaws cheaper somewhere else.
Yes you can. This event is intended primarily as a one time chance for local and area fans who otherwise wouldn't be able to see the WoO on their home track. It's the only way we could make it happen. We are posting this information in case anyone from outside of our immediate area is planning to attend and thinks they can show up and purchase a ticket on race day like an ordinary race.
