Unser was 70 and 71, during this period of time Al won 4 in a row.

Andretti ran the Viceroy car until around 75.

Without seeing Foyt or Branson I'm not sure. If it's the pearl white Foyt car, 64 was the year.

Don Branson carried #4 on the 1965 & 1966 USAC Champ Trail. That year he drove the Wynns Spl. The Champ Dirt cars were painted yellow both years.

Al won the Hoosier 100 in 70 &71 in Parnelli's Johnny Lightning car and he won 72 & 73 in the Viceroy car. In 1974 Al finished 2nd and Mario 3rd (Viceroy cars) to Jackie Howerton in Bignotti's STP Turbo-Offy. I believe 1974 was the last year for the Vel's Parnelli dirt car team. That Turbo-Offy would've made a beautiful model. I contacted GMP and they requested photo's etc. but, I guess they decided not to produce it. I'm not sure they even exist anymore. I have and extensive GMP and Carousel Indy/Dirt/Sprint/Midget collection. I love it!

GMP has ceased operations. As has Carousel 1. There were some GMP vintage 1/18 prototypes on ebay recently.

That's a shame. I guess there just weren't enough of us old timers around to appreciate the history and buy the things.
