USAC Temporary Permits - Clarification

USAC requires all non-members to register a "Temporary Permit" for Car Owners and/or Drivers. These temporary licenses provide USAC with needed information specific to the event for legal, insurance, and purse payment proceeds. USAC Temporary Permits are free for all non-members participating in the Midget and Sprint Divisions.

New for 2008 is an "optional" USAC Racer Insurance Protection Program available to non-members which enhance protection of the individual for the event. For a $20.00 optional fee, the insurance upgrade will increase coverage for non-members from $50,000 Excess Medical to $100,000 Excess Medical and $15,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment for the specific event only.

USAC continues to lead the open wheel industry with it's racer insurance program protecting all registered USAC members with $200,000 Excess Medical Coverage, $50,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and a special member only disability policy of $175 weekly for up to 104 weeks. All national USAC events maintain this high level protection.

Thank you USAC for stepping up and making this change. It is a step in the right direction giving the racer a choice.

Or you could just get that STIDA insurance deal and cover your ass in any car you drive, in any series you drive and not have to become a member of you know what. :moon:

The lack of responses should send Mr.Miller a message. When this topic was discussed last week the negative responses rolled in one after another. Mr. Miller responded, shined a light on the subject that some were not aware of and a whopping 3 responses.

K.Miller

The majority of the threads on IOW are only responded to when the response is in a negative fashion. Also, if you notice its really the same 20-25 people posting over and over on every subject.
Since this board was started it has been a bash USAC SITE. This board used to carry the USAC brand, but bash after bash after bash, finally Steve Farmer put an end to it using the USAC name.I have listened to you on the radio shows, you seem to have a vision for where you want to take USAC and a plan in place. At Mopar you had great success, you made decesions with out hesitation, you used education and experience. I doubt that you used a message board.
I get the feeling you want to make all perfect with the fans, your off to a great start, shows ran quickly and getting home earlier has been great. Follow your vision, follow your plan, delete IOW from your computer, never come back to this site, let the few on this board *****, complain etc..because thats what they do, You made a post they could'nt ***** about and now they are off to find something else. I heard someone say once, "Either make it great or run it in the ground" I hope you do one or the other!!!
