BRODY ROA READY FOR BUSY MONTH WITH USAC/CRA SPRINT CAR SERIES!

(Buena Park, CA, March 28, 2017) Championship chasing Garden Grove, California racing star Brody Roa is set for a busy, and key part, of his 2017 racing season. Beginning this Saturday, April 1st, at Perris Auto Speedway, he will be contesting three USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series races in a span of 15 days.

All three of the April shows are full-points paying races. They will be the second, third and fourth events for the Southern California based series in 2017 and they will go a long way in shaping the season long fight for the championship. After Saturday’s race at Perris, Roa and the BR Performance team will head out on the road for a date at the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway on April 8th followed by an April 15th engagement at the Bakersfield Speedway.

This weekend’s race at Perris will see the 26-year-old perform before one of Southern California’s biggest crowds of 2017 when the USAC/CRA Series is joined by the World of Outlaws for the “So Cal Showdown.” At last year’s “So Cal Showdown,” Roa had an attention getting night in front of a massive crowd by qualifying second fastest in the 26-car field. He then took second in his heat race and followed that up by racking up his second straight third place finish in the main event.

Coming into this Saturday’s race, Roa sits sixth in USAC/CRA points and is only 14-points out of the lead. At last month’s season opener, he was fifth fast-qualifier and placed third in his heat race. In the exciting 30-lap main event he fought off the frustration of a faulty shock for a well-earned fifth-place finish.

In his last three races, the lanky driver has not finished out of the top ten.* Including the previously mentioned fifth place finish at Perris in the USAC/CRA Series, he came home ninth and third in a pair of USAC West Coast Series races at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Off the track, things are back to normal. In February one of the massive storms that sailed through Southern California blew the roof off the team’s race shop and the subsequent heavy rain flooded the inside. Repairs have been made and the #91R team has set its focus solely back on winning the 2017 USAC/CRA crown.

For Brody Roa fans wishing to attend this Saturday’s race at Perris, the spectator gates will open an hour earlier than normal at 4:00 PM. The first race will get the green flag at 7:00. Perris Auto Speedway is located in the city of Perris on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds at the base of the Lake Perris Dam. This address is 18700 Lake Perris Drive and the zip code is 92571.

The BR Performance team would like to thank the following sponsors for making the 2017 season possible: HD Industries, Burris Racing, “Biker” Bruce Fisher, Caring4Vets.com, Frank Baldozier Racing, Lee and Norma Leonard, Hot Paint Restorations, Driven Racing Oil, Baldwin Filter, Okie Race Cars and Crow Enterprises. If you or your company would like to join BR Performance’s championship contending team, please call: (714) 932-7994.
