I was never at Brownstown but was thinking about coming out this Sat. night for the Outlaw Late Models.

1) Are they still running?
2) Will they call it if its to cold?
3) Whats the track like?
4) Should/could it be a good show??
5) If they run, Jonsey are you in:cheers????

Thanks for any info...

they usually get 60-70 cars. the track is a 1/4 mile semi baked track at the jackson county fairgrounds. i doubt if the call the race because it's a good money maker. they had their biggest crowd ever at this race a couple of years ago. if the cars can get off the bottom it will be an exellent show.

The Icebreaker tends to be a good race. I thought last year was excellent. Bart Hartmann was CHARGING through the field until his right rear started going down. It'll probably get dusty, but the early-season shows at Brownstown are usually really good and racy.

If the track is any indication of what it has been lately, look for this to happen. This is the lap leader recap from the Jackson 100, and remember this is OFFICIAL lead changes, not counting passes happening on the other parts of the track.

Lap Leaders: Earl Pearson Jr. 1-3, Steve Francis 4-20, Jimmy Owens 21, Francis 22, Owens 23-68, Tim McCreadie 69-78, Pearson 79-82, McCreadie 83-100
