Who's going to Grain Valley next Saturday and Sunday Sprints and Midgets?

I have a ticket for Sunday the 24th, it would be my first visit. I also had a ticket for the show at Lake Ozark Speedway on 5/16 that is now being made up the 24th.

I would prefer the POWRi show but the weather (granted, it’s a week out) doesn’t look great at either place right now.

Grain Valley is an awesome bullring! Doesn't show any support classes so sprints midgets only will be great.

It should be a great event. I will have to wait on midget week and streaming for now. Hope I don't get arrested for crossing a border when I leave the wolverine. Glad to see clubs being proactive and having events where they can.

I will be at Valley for both days. They ran an "outlaw" midget class last year so I spent many race nights at the track. It very much has a Jeckle/Hyde personality. I have seen some absolutely amazing races, and I have watched things that have made me shake my head. Let's hope we get two days of quality racing.

After looking at the USAC entry list for Port City, the Saturday race may not have a great car count. Many people who are regulars with POWRi are racing at Port. I am thinking that the Sunday race could be great as we pick up a bunch of the travelers coming back from Port.

How strange would it be to see less than 20 on Saturday and over 40 on Sunday.
