One month from today the 410 Non Wing sprints along with UMP Mods, 600 Micro Sprints, Super Streets, Thunder Cars and 4 cylinder Cyber Stocks take to the new clay surface at the Playground of Power for the Cabin Fever event. I drove past the track this past weekend and saw them unloading grandstands from Daytona. Talking to Keith Beeching the manager of the track they are wanting to get on the track to work it this weekend if mother nature will allow it. It is refreshing to see a track invest back into the sport with new surface, taller walls, new lights and poles to be added to the lights already there, and the grandstands and suites. Keith says it is a 2 year process to complete everything, but the main thing was the new surface of clay they had tested and trucked in and i could not see any rocks... I as a fan want to thank Ed Kennedy for bringing back dirt track racing in northern Indiana as i grew up watching in Warsaw Indiana. Everyone please have positive feed back for short track racing. and try to take a non race fan with you each week to your local track and make more fans
