I just want to talk to Jeff about the car but I have which is an old 4 coil Edmunds with a Pontiac super duty motor
I use it for vintage club runs
I just want to get some of the early history regarding the car from him

Thanks for sharing the Edmond's website...A must read especially Don's Soapbox on race car suspension. He threw out a great "what if" in the early 60's about switching Sprints and Midgets over to independent suspension and what would happen if we didn't and American drivers were not accustomed to racing with it and sure enough USAC made yet another well intended rule and banned Don's Independent Suspension Midgets and today unlike in the pre 1960 days most Indy drivers are racing without midget and sprint car experience and have funny sounding last names.

Using hind site>> since USAC was in charge of Indy at the time what would have happened if they would have banned rear engines and Independent suspension for Indy cars?????????
