For me it was a ho-hum week. Average track conditions at best, the racing was way too much follow the leader. I figured we were building to a big Saturday finish but the deal with Donnie Ray took the wind out of that sail for me plus watching the Swindell show did not add any excitement. The only thing that will be remembered about the Saturday race is Coon Dog and BC's race passes and Sammy' whining about traffic in victory lane. It was better than being stuck at home or work though and next year is bound to be better.

I know the Swindell's are great dirt racers but how light and different are those cars? Just seems a little odd with all that talent they end up in the front rows the last few years.

I heard Swindell talking about the reality of even matched cars and traffic, didn't hear any whining.

Those guys have just figured something out chassis or set-up wise that the others haven't. I too would have liked to seen more passing, but I also think that Swindell should be given more credit by some

Just a question, not at all a shot. But does Kevin Swindell run anything other than the Chili Bowl? Obviously he has one track figured out but I'd like to see how good he really is by running a national series of some sort.

He actually ran Knoxville weekly program this last year. Despite missing a few races he earned rookie of the year in 2011 of Knoxville Raceway.
