So glad I didn't waste my time.A night out on the town was more fitting anyhow. I could make a bigger track in my back yard!

1. They proved that a full midget can race on a Quarter Midget race track. The track looked to have had 30 foot Diameter on the turns and about 90foot strhaigts>>> that adds up to 1/20 th of a mile (using the ford push push truck to scale off of) . You could get almost a 1/10th mile on the very outside.

2. They must not have invented the fire marshal or epa yet back when they raced on coke syrup at the Dome.

3. the karts were just a little traction challenged and the good driver did well. The Midgets no doubt had good drivers and did much better than the karts, it took the karts 35 minutes to run a 30 minute race.

5. It is 5Am and I'm going to bed.

What a joke that was! Left after the 4th heat race! Track conditions were a joke. Drivers were a joke! But then again can't blame the drivers they were going to were the track only could let them race. I will not go back unless it is in Lucas oil.

Really hate to see this event go down like it did, I almost bought tickets but decided to see how it went, thinking I could go next year. Looks like there may not be a next year. On a positive note though, the Silver Crown series is gonna be back at Salem this year!

I was,and thats why when they announced this, all I could think of was Kemper Arena, and what a disappointment that was. Even though this event was just a few miles from where I live (Kemper was 8 hr drive) I decided to pass on it,and say nothing here.

Lately I've found out you are better off to say nothing on most any topic, and just keep your opinion to yourself, hence why I seldom post anymore.

Glad I saved my money for both parking and admission and stayed home and worked on my Nova yesterday instead.I spent more money on some parts this week for that than what admission and parking would be. No disappointment at all though. For the cost of a computer and internet,I got to come on here last night and read the comments, then sleep and get up and read even more from disgruntled fans! Its been great entertainment for a small price!
