Whats the best rig for towing 25 to 30 ft trailer? Wanted opinions on both 250,2500 and350,3500. Thanks

I have a 97 f350 psd dually and it's awesome pulling a fully loaded trailer. No worries.

I bought a 95 f350 7.3 powerstroke new when I was racing. Sold out race stuff years ago but kept the truck. Still have it& it's been a great vehicle
The next generation ford with 6.0 has a much worse reputation. .

I pull a 36 foot enclosed trailer with everything to race 1 car or sometimes 2 cars. Do this with a 2000, 3500 dually.

If you're doing lots of miles get a 350 since the axles are full floating, wheel bearings seem to last longer. The 2500 chevys are semi floating and have issues towing lots of weight with the axle bearings. If it's short runs less weight it's not as much a concern. Ford trans are pretty bullet proof. The dodges have lots of trans issues the Allison in the d-max trucks are ok but not nearly as tough as the ford 6 speed autos.
