Well, I was there, so I know it was the dirt cars (Silver Crown). 81 or 82. I'll guess 81.

We have a winnah! The USAC Silver Crown division was scheduled to run at Williams Grove on July 5th, 1982 but was rained out and not rescheduled. They had run there in '80 with Sheldon Kinser the winner, and in '81 when Eddie Leavitt took the win. Rocketracing, PM me you're address and I'll send out the program from that July 5th, 1982 race to you. Congrats!:thumb

I was looking at the roster, and does anyone know of any notables that are missing? I see pretty much all the regulars.

Rahmer was there the first night but timed bad and loaded up. Pauch Jr. was there as well. Two other cars were there but had problems.

Clayton got one lap in and hit the wall. Looks as though something broke in the front end and he went straight into the wall. He is OK.

Updated quals - 75, 69, 20, 21, 67k, 44, 9, 2b, 99, 93, 10

Hats off to the Scott Benic team for getting the 2b back on track. That was a nasty tumble Brad Kuhn took at Grandview Tuesday night.
