Does anyone have any information on this race. What is the payout for sprints, midgets and mods?

Any expected drivers in midgets or sprints?

Probably the standard Kokomo payout; $1400 to Win & $155 to start.

JT I think you probably should let the promoter answer that question.

Purse listed on the link provided...$1200 to win...$150 to start ...put those numbers vs a tire bill ? But, hell of a show for $15 if your a spectator.

If I could get off work earlier I would make the 6 hour round trip to GC. Sprints, midgets and mods for $15 is an excellent bargain.

Also, I'm sure most are aware the future of the track is still uncertain. Might be the last race we get to see there for awhile unless something has changed?

From the link provided:

MIDGET TIRE RULES:
The use of a Hoosier SP2, 3 or 4 right rear tire and a D12 or harder compound on the left rear is mandated to benefit from the series point fund, but is NOT mandatory to compete in each USAC Indiana Midget Championship event.

What about weather? Report I saw said rain early but ending in the evening... too close for comfort, or a long drive....

What a strange weather pattern right now. Looks like a hurricane just swirling about.

I hate Indiana hurricanes......
