Taylor leads UAW Kenyon Midgets into the Speedrome on 5/13

Point leader and 2016 UAW American Made Mel Kenyon Midget Series driving champion Dameron Taylor will be piloting the series as it returns to the Indianapolis Speedrome for round 4 of the 2017 racing season.
Taylor jumped to the top of the point chart on Saturday May 6 with early point leader Kyle Hamilton racing on the East Coast.
On April 29 Taylor battled Hamilton to the wire in a 50-lap contest. With Hamilton again racing on the East Coast Taylor will start the race as the active driver with most wins on the historic 1/5th mile track.
Clayton Gaines is coming off his first win on the dirt this past Saturday and will be looking to add to his book of firsts with a win at the Speedrome. Trey Osborn and the Huggler brothers, Ryan and Logan, have all been close to the Speedrome victory lane and any one of them has the potential get his first win. Osborne followed Hamilton, Taylor and 2015 Champion Kyle O’Gara home in 4th place on April 29.
The UAW American Made Mel Kenyon Midget Series drivers will be join a full card of racing including a 75-lap feature for the Speedrome Late Model Figure 8 cars. The Indianapolis Speedrome spectator gates open at 4:00 with racing scheduled for 7:00 PM.
