RAIN JUMBLES "SMACKDOWN" SCHEDULE

Kokomo, IN........Rain interrupted Thursday night's opening of the Stoops Freightliner-Quality Trailer "Sprint Car Smackdown III" after qualifying and two heats had been conducted at Kokomo Speedway. The remainder of Thursday's program will resume beginning at 2 pm Saturday. Friday's program remains unchanged at present and Saturday night's finale will begin after the completion of Thursday's events. Dave Darland was the fastest qualifer Thursday while heats went to C.J. Leary and Chase Stockon.
