Read on Harf web site LPS not accepting harf membership 2018

The HARF site provides the following explanation as well:

FYI: Lincoln Park Speedway is not offering the $2 discount for their races this year because of difficulties with a couple of members last year. So sorry, to hear about this, but it seems some members can ruin a good thing for everyone else. Sorry about this for you, our members, and also LPS for having to deal with stupid things like that, like you don't have enough to deal with, then this happens.

It’s a shame and sounds like this was an unfortunate and frustrating situation for HARF and LPS!

We are still trying to get LPS to do a couple regular HARF nights, but that is pending. But no longer the every week discount.

Very disappointing frustrating for members, several members go to this track because of the discount offered for every weekend.
May hurt the amount of money spent at the track
because of no discount.

Sorry about stepping on some toes BUT if people stop coming cuz of $2 then not much of race fans and I doubt LPS will miss them at all Guess its true people will b###h about being hung with a new rope

Just saying people quit going there because they stopped carry in of alcohol.

They have never allowed carry in alcohol. You can have it in the parking lot but not inside the gates. Stop whining because the staff is following the Indiana law as allowed by their alcohol permit.

If you think people quit going there then you must not be paying attention. LPS has the biggest local show crowds in the state. I think running every week has something to do with that.
