Didn't get to go to that race, but remember they said the track was a little rougher than they were used to with those cars. I saw several races there while it was pavement. a guy I had raced with at Putnamville ran a modified there.

I attended the Indy race was really a decent race there. They also had Modifieds at that race. Seemed like maybe Kenny St John was the promoter of the track towards the end of its pavement years. I started going there in the early to mid 70s.

🚨SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!🚨 - Every single regular division we race will have a special $3,000 to win event during the season! Divisions will be announced tomorrow!

📝Special Side Note 📝 - All these announcements are part of the business plan being put in place within our investment group. No single person will own this track. The investment group will be making all the decisions once a sale is final. This is our attempt at being completely transparent for our fans and to gain investor interest. We find out more information later in the week.

👀 -> Stay tuned for announcement #3 tomorrow! <- 👀 Each day we will have one class or event announcement, and then a side note with additional speedway related information.

2024 Season: Race 1 - April 20th Brownstown (Crate LM). Unlike many I don't discriminate on what racing I choose to watch.

Ran our modified there the day of the American Indy Car Race. The Indy Cars ran better than I anticipated on a short 3/8 mile track. I really like the track when it was paved. It was really fast and seemed like it had 5 or 6 turns.
Ran a couple races with our dirt modified after they switched to dirt. The only problem with the track was its in the middle of nowhere and not easy to get to.

I was there.
Also remember a USAC midget race, where someone (Jay Brosius?) landed in the bottom rows of the bleachers.

I was there during Indiana Sprint Week when Kevin Studley had a huge crash during qualifying and sent some parts flying over the fence into the turn one area. I don't believe there were injuries, but it was scary.

If & when they reconfigure the track hope they make it great for the drivers and teams.
