Owners and promoters should be embarrassed especially after the last race when they pulled out a bunch of rocks, some which were big. We’re not talking pea gravel here. Beautiful facility, racing surface dangerous joke!
I believe windom said he lost two tires because of rocks. One in hot laps and one in qualifying

Did you ever go to race somewhere, and have the announcer ask everyone to pick up at least one rock, maybe they need to do that, usually half and half, half the fans leave, and half the rigs pull out. And they usually were looking for an announcer before the last rig pulled out.

Mario Clouser had rock go through the hood, tear up the air filter and break the ignition box as well.

I would think USAC would question continuing to visit a facility that does not keep the drivers safety, fan safety, and car owners pocket book as a top priorities. Burg better step up to the plate. Or use it as a rock quarry.

Overall it was a really good night of racing and they moved through it quickly. I had enough time to stay and watch the mods too but I gave up after the 4th caution, man they are a hard watch at L-Burg.I would rather watch the Hornets or stocks there.

Charles, It was nice to meet you and put a face with the name. I hope to see you again next year!
Nice to meet you too Kevin, Usually sit up top with the rest of the Buckeye Racefan Club but feet were all cramped up and I just decided to only go halfway..

Not sure on the rocks as I don't see many when looking at the track from the stands But I'll go down myself and make laps rock hunting a couple times next spring if they'll let me. (I have before) I do know all the push trucks an Connor made two laps of the track looking for stuff before the feature.

I do know the track stayed good all night. Kinda narrow early. But they didn't have to work it once, Let alone three times.

Prayin for Steve Thomas, That was a flagstand to top of middle of turns one and two nose to tail flip. That guy passes three tracks racing much closer to run LBurg. Thanks Steve.

everyone knows there are rocks at the burg, but people still haul there s@#t down there and race. no reason to complain when you show up any way. if you don't like it, don't show up.

So you are running for a USAC championship and according to you then you shouldnt show up because you know there are rock issues there? Thats just not gonna happen. USAC needs to step in and tell them to rectify the issue or not schedule there

Why not weigh them right after the race so you don’t have these issues?
