I don't know about there, but Chuck's BBQ in Herrin serves bluegill and it is real good. Also, 17th Street Bar and Grill has a newer, bigger, nicer location right off the Interstate in Marion and that place is legendary. I recommend the brisket sandwich and the smoked sausage with pimento cheese spread for your appetizer. It sounds different, but they really work together.

Unless something has changed this year the food isn't bad. There just isn't much variety.
Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
Saw this on twitter "Notified by POWRI officials that we WILL NOT be shooting the DuQuoin Indoor Midget show for MAVTV as planned"
So does that mean it isnt being taped for TV at all? or just a different production company will be doing it now ?

I know when we ran the lightning sprints there back on Thanksgiving weekend half the lights was burned out. Mentioned then I did not see how they could have it on TV with it being so dark inside. Wonder if the lighting was an issue?
