THRILLA FROM MANILLA WINS A THRILLER AT ELDORA

Rossburg, Ohio (May 20, 2023)………Veteran racer Matt Lux charged from sixth to first during the first six laps on Saturday night at Rossburg, Ohio’s Eldora Speedway to score his first career USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget feature victory.

Lux, the reigning All Star Circuit of Champions TQ Midget champion from Manilla, Ind., chased down leader Josh Yenser six laps into the 20-lap main event, which was the debut for the series at the half-mile dirt oval.

Defending series champion Stratton Briggs (Anna, Ohio) took second with Bryce Massingill (Troy, Ohio) third, Josh Yenser (Plain City, Ohio) fourth and Zach Wigal (Belpre, Ohio) fifth.* Wigal remains the series point leader as the Eldora race was a non-points special event.
