MARVIN CARMAN PASSES AT 76

Racing fans and USAC are mourning the passing of Marvin Carman, who in 2011 was inducted into the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame. The 1975 USAC Sprint Car Rookie of the Year won *a pair of races at Winchester Speedway that year and in 1984 he won a USAC Silver Crown race at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul. In 1982 and 1983 he won the prestigious "Little 500" Sprint race in Anderson, Ind. USAC extends its condolences to his family and friends.
