$2500 and you can get the Gator Nationals winning engine, methanol injection and a spare engine...

A "STOCK" 1000cc R-1 if I remember correctly...guess I could look at his serial tech # and pull up the info...It in the computer in the trailer...to lazy at 10:30 to go out and get it

dad why not put v/4 together cut 410 in half aluminum block like ron trainer did in 1982 you seem to know it all what do you have to say now you blow a lot of wind over nothing just a lot of bs

The only V4 that comes to mind would be the Scat V4. They had a sound that was all their own>>Kind of like a super loud "BARF" . While they ran they ran pretty good, but they were undependable. Had the D2 rules been like Montpelier's they would be legal and if a guy had one setting in his barn he could race it. The point of this discushion is what would make a good engine for this class, and the V4 if available at a reasonable cost would be one. The Question is>>Do you specify only certain engines to be legal to race or do you just set parameters only and open it up to ingenious builders. Engines do not stay in the system very long now days, but they do tend to improve each year.

I do tend to shoot a lot of BULL
