Anyone see the infield wall situation? Looks totally back asswards to me. Why in the world would you have a blunt edge like that on corner entry? If someone's LR gets clipped underneath on corner entry, they're pointed headfirst into a flat barrier. Maybe they're switching things up and running clockwise s/

There's a video on Facebook of Cody Sommer taking laps in a midget preped by Casey Shuman.
For a guy who hasn't been in a race car in 8 years and never open wheel. He was getting around the dome good. Looked great for midgets. For those who can go. GO!

Also realized from the video that Cody is the guy I was talking too at Mansfield who was posing as a friend of Cody getting opinions. Cody or not, I was honest about my dislike of not starting the program till after 9pm for no reason other than a cluster. Have since improved Im told. I'll be back, great track and the guy's putting up some $$$

Any body have any info on parking? I see there are lots of options, but don’t know which is the best option in terms of cost and walking distance. Would appreciate any info as four rookies will be making our first trip to this event,

Parking is going to cost somewhere between $25 and $35 per day if you're within walking distance of the dome. About the same as parking for a Cardinal's baseball game.

Rooms within walking distance will run $150 and up per night. The hotels will still hit you the $25 to $35 to park your vehicle even if you stay in one of them. Concessions will be comparable in price, maybe higher, to what they are at a Cardinal's baseball game, as well. That translates to very expensive.

Going to races in a downtown urban setting is plenty expensive.

This is a bit overblown. Parking if you're willing to walk a couple blocks should be ~$10. Should be plenty of parking along Washington Ave. (lots of bars and restaurants).

I found parking online for $5 per night online. 4 blocks walking to the dome. We are packing up the vehicle and heading west tomorrow.

Should be? Should be less than $10, but it's not. We were in the area of the dome early on Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend this past summer and the best parking deal we could find in that area was $25 and we looked everywhere. Been to several Cardinal's games over the past 3 seasons and have parked all over the area and everything has been $25 minimum. This is a downtown urban area and the prices of everything are reflective of where you are.

Hopefully it isn't 4 blocks north of the dome! If it is be sure to have an armed escort! LOL!
