Stop by and say hi if you’re around, we’re enjoying some refreshments north of the pond just north of the house. |

Well I got Leary in the Crown.
On another note, That may have been the best track I've seen at Eldora EVER. I'd of liked a little more cushion for the NW sprint feature but overal it stayed good all night and cars raced everywhere on it. If you left before the Crown Cars, You missed a great race between Leary and KTj, 30 of the 50 laps they were either side by side or passing each other. Congrats to all the teams, Eldora and USAC for a great night, Hope Rico is ok.

Sunshine completes Serena sweep of 4-Crown, winning all 3 USAC races between the Silver Crown last year and the sprint race this year.

Made my first trip to Eldora this weekend. The facilities are nice. A lot of options for seating. The food (hot cheese balls) was good and reasonably priced. Nice facility to walk around. Yes, it was dusty but we expected That.
Will be a while (if ever) before we go back. Would consider going again if they got rid of the All stars. A lot of cars for 1 night. Plus, I was freezing (admittedly my fault for not being prepared). The heats were good but the features were a snooze fest (no, we didn’t stay for the SC feature). By 11:30pm and a red flag just into the All star feature (with a 50-lap feature yet to go), we were tired, cold and caked with dust and an hour drive back to the hotel on top of already being tired...we were over it. Love the idea of all 3 classes racing on the same night, but let’s keep it to those 3.
