LPS has the same car count as Kokomo at USAC's biggest race of the season. The purse at LPS is around $5000 vs $35,000 at Kokomo. Wonder why there are not more cars at Kokomo ( it will still be an awesome show). I do know that the miller/smith team are not at LPS.

Kokomo should do this show themselves next year!! When locals will by-pass a $1000 to start to race for $100 to start there has to be a common denominator? Was there a entry USAC entry fee at Kokomo, are they still taking purse money away from non USAC members?

I think the person in the pits is ok. The ambulance turned off the lights and went back to its place in the pits.

No reason to poo poo USAC. Plenty of cars in Indiana to go around. I'm sure that any one at any track will have a good time and see a good show if they just get out. The folks here at Kokomo are excited to be here. Enjoy the races where ever you may be.

Very nice gesture for kokomo to recognize Paul hazens career tonight and push for him to get into the national sprint car hall of fame. I hope this happens while Paul is still turning wrenches.

First off he didn't drive into Clayton, mdc got sideways and bumped him in the heat. The slidejob in the feature was close but if he wanted to wreck kt don't you think he would have done that 2 weeks ago for 5k at haubstadt? The contact between the two was not intentional. Kt and Chase talked after the feature and were fine with eachother. The reason he was not allowed in was for something he said to the sheriff who did not appreciate it and therefore did not let him in the track. Again nothing to do with kt and Chase. Hopefully kt will be back in full force the next race.

Not bumping Daron Clayton would be hard not to do. I like watching him race as much as the next guy but he is the biggest windshield wiper racer that there is, at least at Haubstadt.

The word in the pits directly after the feature was the track was upset about KTs actions on the racetrack, and seemed all up in his business about it, which was why I was confused on how Stockton came out clean on this, he started the whole thing. It wasn't a slide job gone bad, it was a move to take the position, whether someone else is there or not. I understand afterwards more things were said on KT's end, but the sherriffs weren't up in Stocktons trailer like they were in KTs
