I thought the same. The ASCoC is on Volusia’s schedule for 2024 (Feb 7th and 8th). However, with today’s announcement, I’m starting to think those Volusia dates might be the first casualty.

I would say because WRG group who own the outlaws own Volusia Speedway.

I’ll reserve judgment until I see schedules & committed teams. And if those commitments last all year. High Limit started off this year with around 25 teams committed to run the entire year, how many actually did? 5-6 maybe? And that was for only 12 races.
I’m not sure there are enough well funded teams to support 2 national series and are there enough tracks willing to take the risk on having a big show? I believe High Limit “rented” the tracks this season, they are not gonna do that for a full season.
The biggest unknown is how much money does Flo contribute?
There are so many questions, the off season should be interesting

But could the competition between series lead to more well-funded teams?

I’m not sure that’s why I’ll wait and see. But my guess is no. If those teams are out there they’d be running with the WoO now. It’ll be interesting

I hope they keep the All Stars regional like now and do not try a coast-to-coast thing with them. I am hoping that a very good working relationship between the two parties will happen.

And at least ONE of them stays on Flo.

You guys are crazy. No shots fired at WOO. Neither are going anywhere. Why? because they both need each other. WOO and All stars both have about 10 teams. Neither series has enough money to fund 20 full time teams. Its no different than the Late Model side of things. Now if we could get the sprint car guys to work together like the Late Model guys, wing racing would flourish. Each LM series has big races. On many of the big races the opposite series takes the weekend off. The next 2 months are going to be very interesting.

Will the new HL/All Stars run west coast because of Brad and Kyle's connections?

Will the new All Stars pull a few of the current WoO roster drivers away?

Worst case scenario is that new All Stars do in fact pull a few from WoO roster and and then the two series be scheduling races on same night within 5,6 hours of each other. Sure hope that doesn't happen

I would think most of the All Star schedule would have been tentatively set by this time. I didn't think High Limit effected the Outlaws at all. Actually may have helped car counts at the beginning of the year. The real fighting seems to be over streaming. I could see the High limit races being All Star sanctioned to help car counts. Kind of a series within a series. I don't see a big change in the All Stars foot print.
